This is a great option for anyone looking for a quality oil separator at a great price. Notice I didn't say cheap. It can cost less than 1/4 the cost of high-end trap cans and also has the same baffle design. What you don't pay for is quality control. You'll need to take the can apart when you pick it up and clean it of any metal shavings that may be left over from machining. I had a few flakes in the cap area where the nipples screw on and a few flakes in the brass filter area. A small file or knife can easily remove metal shavings and then rinse with water. After driving this jar over a thousand miles I had no leaks and collected about a tablespoon of oil. Given the price and performance, I would buy again in a heartbeat for another car.
