Works as it should, sticks well to most surfaces but can slip a little on some smooth surfaces. The locking knob works well, the outer ring spins freely so you can't just take it off. Don't be a jerk like me, leave the key on your jacket and throw it into oblivion lol. I will contact the manufacturer and see if they are available separately. All aluminum, light weight. The threaded rod sticks out quite a bit when used on thin stock, but all of these fasteners do. Good value for money if you need something a little safer than the traditional style.
