A good salt dispenser despite its small size. However . A few things about this salt shaker don't bother me: 1. I immediately didn't like that the silicone seal is visible on the outside of the lid. The designer made it so that the silicone seal is secured by drilling tiny holes in the side of the lid that hold the silicone seal in place inside the lid. So you can see that silicone is sticking out of these holes. It's definitely in the picture, but I just wasn't paying attention to it. Now that I've got it in my hands, I find that I don't like the little rubbery silicone bumps that protrude from the side of the lid. In my opinion, that's not attractive at all.2. The salt server is great for what I want. and the spoon is too small. A spoon is fine as long as you keep it well filled with salt so it doesn't sink into the salt. The main reason I use a salt spoon is because I personally don't like salt getting under my nails. Also, I don't want to use salt that other people have rubbed their fingers! So a spoon is a great addition for me, but due to the small size I would never use this portion for honey, jam or other condiments. Of course, you can always use a different spoon. if you could find one that would allow you to completely disconnect. I don't like to think that I'm so structured that I'd get another one just for those few things. at least not for everyday use. Part of me feels like I should be thankful that I have a salt server that works and keeps dust and moisture out. I also like that the lid can be left open, but not necessarily on the table. Usually when something works I might not notice the physical flaws. And I can use it with one hand, which is nice. So I'll keep it and see how it works! It is filled with my mined and unrefined Himalayan Salt. and will definitely be used on a daily basis. I think I would rate 3.5 stars now. After using a few of them I will come back and update them as needed.
