I usually wash all new clothes before I wear them. Wanted to wash them out of the packaging and read they cannot be machine washed or tumble dried. Big minus for me! I ordered the correct size but when I put the sock on (only wore it on my injured right foot) the sock was too tight at the ankle on the top of my foot. The rest of the sock was fine but it hurt in one spot. I took them off after only 10 minutes to find a deep ridge in the skin where the sock was too tight. So. These socks were a letdown for me and the money down the drain. I cannot recommend them. There are many brands on Revain that are machine washable, I'll use one of those instead.
