I have a kitchen made for a doll! Finding dish racks has always been a challenge due to the small counter space. Regular plastic bottles take up the entire counter and hang 1 inch into the sink. I knew there had to be something better, so I started looking. I chose this model simply because of the smaller size. I left it in my save items for about 6 months trying to decide if it was worth it. My biggest fear was that I would receive it and it would be too small for our daily essentials and I hate returning things. but I finally pulled the trigger. It took about 5 minutes to spin it. The schematic style instructions weren't difficult at all. It was perfectly balanced the first time, but on my desk it sits on the edge of the sink, making the adjustable feet that much more valuable. Just a few turns and it doesn't wobble at all. It scared me a little because it's metal and I have almost all the glass plates and bowls but there weren't any scratches or dents yet! I was very cautious at first, but now I just don't worry as much. The trays pull out and clean easily, which was never the case with old-school racks. My counter ends at the fridge so I can't use the cup holder on the side, but since it sticks out slightly from the counter I can use the bottom front cup holder. It touches the counter, which isn't ideal, but I consider the cup holder a bonus, not a requirement. Anyway, I've never used glass holders on plastic holders for very long, which tend to warp and break. I have a real counter seat in front of him! With the old stands I could NEVER use this counter for anything, they were too wide. My only problem is that I didn't order it 6 months ago. It was a miracle for me. If you have a small kitchen like me and you stand on a fence, let me give you a nudge! Take it. You will not regret it!
