Review on P and J Trading Campfire Fragrance Oil - Top Quality Scented Oil - 30ml by Vanessa Knipp

A friend of mine who knows my nutty, crunchy taste in fragrances sent me a link to this oil with the caption "You should buy this! You will like it! "She assured me it smelled like "a real campfire, not Big Pharma's synthetic campfire" (I expressed concern), so I took a small financial risk and ordered a bottle. Said one Friend was right! The campfire scent is amazing. It smells absolutely authentic of pure burning smoky wood with hints of something that could be interpreted as pine or clary sage or even clove depending on your personal olfactory neurons which is almost unheard of - EVERYTHING gives me an itchy rash scents chewing gum gum gum small mammals large mammals hair dye menthol spices daylight moisture laughter number 17 life life gives me an itchy rash but not a campfire scent hooray sidebar: maybe this oil actually is NOT intended to be used as a fragrance on the skin BUT I can't figure out how to do it successfully I used it for the purposes it was intended for, so I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. I figured I'd use it in one of those little scented oil jars that you put on top of a candle or lightbulb where the heat releases the scent into the environment. but heating the oil didn't really help. do nothing. I thought maybe put a few drops on a lit candle. This didn't work either. Also, the smell goes away pretty quickly, so if you spill a few drops on the scarf and leave it there, the smell won't be persistent in the room either. So it turns out it doesn't hurt my skin, but that's how I use it now. Most interestingly, Campfire fragrances can be blended with OTHER oils and readily available substances to create powerful, signature fragrances for life.
