Dirty, smells like baby oil; Great for dry skin

I love the idea of a hybrid toner with oil and infused water, but I think manufacturers need to reconsider the packaging and added fragrance. It's messy to use and smells awful. This Vitality Duo Bi-Phase Dynamic Toner from 8Cellent consists of two parts: an oil phase and a water phase (in one bottle). When you first open the packaging you will find a standard open cap plastic bottle sealed securely in plastic wrap. You can tell a layer of oil from a layer of water. You will be instructed to shake the contents, which will temporarily turn them into a cloudy or colorless oily toner. If I put this on a cotton pad, the cotton pad will be oily, the dispenser will be oily, the bottle will be oily. Unfortunately, the design of the main bottle makes it messy and excess product splatter everywhere. And something about the scent reminds me of old-school baby oil that I don't want to put on my face. Otherwise, the ingredients in both the oil and water phases of this toner are safe for the skin. Especially if you lean more on the dry side. If you're not comfortable using oils in your skincare routine, especially oil-based leave-in products, I highly recommend not using this toner. Because it leaves a greasy stain on your face. The oil phase contains salicylic acid mixed with different types of oils such as olive, sunflower, raspberry, prickly pear, sea buckthorn and flavorings. The water phase is of course water, with glycolic acid, panthenol, mandelic acid, silk amino acids, rose water, walnut seed extract and niacinamide. and since oils are occlusive, using this toner may interfere with the absorption of other skin care products that follow the same process. And when I say occlusive, I don't mean it causes acne. I just mean that you have created an oil barrier that makes it difficult for other ingredients to penetrate. But since it contains salicylic acid and glycolic acid, I think the goal is to use it not only as a moisturizer but also as an exfoliant; All in one skin care product. It was the perfect toner for my needs as I have mature, sensitive, combination and acne prone skin. However, due to the very dirty bottle and the strange baby oil smell, I decided to stop using it. I wish they had made an unscented version instead.
