I was skeptical from the start - given its simplicity, I suspected it would be marginal at best. I was wrong. It's way better than I thought. First of all: I would not buy this as additional padding for reasons of comfort. The amount of padding added is minimal and there are better products on the market for that. I just rode 100 miles after getting it in sunny, 80F wet weather, and *not once* did my rear end feel anywhere near what I would call warm. It also doesn't retain much heat meaning I don't burn my legs every time I sit after leaving the bike in the sun for 3 minutes. This is salvation! Installation was relatively easy, although you do need to plan where you're going to pull the straps. Otherwise it's perfect for any detachable seat. It's a little shorter than my Yamaha's seat, but overall long enough that it's not a problem.
