I bought these because I found out that blue light causes insomnia (which I have had for years). I've just come to terms with the fact that I've been taking some type of over-the-counter sleep aid for almost 10 years. I was always told it was "premenopausal" and my gynecologist agreed. I was reading about blue light and why it causes sleep problems and my lightbulb just went out. I received this and asked myself: didn't I dare to take something to sleep with me? Is that true or was it an ad? Well I'm here to tell you it's TRUE! Since then I sleep every night without sleeping pills. As long as I wear glasses at night and work on the computer, I have no problems sleeping. I think I should also talk about the quality of the glasses! I bought 5 different types before settling on this one. They were of much better quality than some of the cheaper models from other manufacturers. I bought another brand, also good quality, but for the money they are no worse than the more expensive Felix Gray. They are stylish and they look good. I would buy them again.
