I've experimented with other 2.5mm mic cables and found that they always twist in the wrong place. Then, when Bose released their new gaming headset, I was thrilled to be able to buy the microphone separately; However, Bose sells it for just $80 and requires the purchase to be bundled with a USB adapter, which I don't need. The Fulaim version is very similar to the Bose version and was just what I needed to use my QC35 II with Discord. Note that when looking at the microphone, the black side should be facing your mouth.
