I was looking for the perfect sandals. I can't wear normal flip flops, which irritate between my toes and most of the time don't give any support. I really like this style that takes the pressure off the toes. I even bought sandals with this toe which are comfortable to the touch but still very noisy. These Tevas provide additional support for the rear of the upperfoot, keeping the foot in more contact with the shoe, making it virtually silent. I have high arches and they offer great support so I can wear them all day. Right out of the box I wore them on long sightseeing weekends. I had no blisters or fatigue in my feet, ankles or legs. I bought blue and black. love them both I'm going on another trip and black sandals are the only shoes I'm taking with me. You can dress them up or down. I have two friends who also bought the blue and black and they love them too! A friend has fairly flat feet and finds them just as comfortable as I do.
