Aubergine color is a rich, dark purple. i really like it The reason I only gave it 3 stars is because it's not that soft. I take it for the color and versatility. I'm a size 16 above and it was tight under my armpits. I am giving it as a gift for someone who is taller than average/tall and I think it will suit her. Her arms are much thinner than mine and her back is narrower. I'm 5ft 7in and this would be too short for me. I think it would be ok for 5ft 5in and under.
