I had a corner sofa in my medium sized living room and needed narrow end tables that would not get in the way of traffic and also had a drink/remote control at the end. Took one to check size and immediately returned for another! Sturdy all-wood construction that withstands impact without being easily damaged. Easy to assemble if you have monkey IQ or higher. Just follow the instructions or you might end up tightening all the legs before inserting the bottom shelf and you'll have to loosen things up to put it down like I did! The only negative I have is that the box is practically unusable. Its width is barely wide enough for my full size Samsung TV remote. I liked the look of the drawer over the flat front, so it's more of an aesthetic choice than a functional one.
