I really liked this watch band for its thickness and appearance. It really isn't that hard to put on and I don't know how some people struggle with it. The bracelet is exactly as shown in the photos. MY main problem is that I use the Ticwatch C2 smartwatch. This watch has sensors on the bottom to track body information and also to know if it's on your wrist. It's not the end of the world if you don't care about biometrics and always keep your watch unlocked. However, one of the main reasons I bought this model was the Google Pay support, which requires the watch to have a lock feature. This means I have to unlock the watch every time I want to use it. This is cumbersome and slows down the checkout process so much that it bothered me. To fix this I cut the velcro in half and sew it back on to create permanent loops around the pins on the real watch. This takes care of the hook part, but the "loop" part is still in the way. To fix this I used a utility knife to cut a square out of the fabric. This allows the watch sensors to sit on my real wrist and work perfectly. Remember that if you cut a piece of nylon it will begin to crumble uncontrollably unless you burn it. To do this, cut a hole, then use a lighter to CAREFULLY burn the frayed edges so they don't fall apart completely. If you burn it, the ends will stick together, which is inconvenient. To fix this, if you burn it, take out your lighter and then immediately press the edge onto a flat surface, which flattens it and then stays that way as it cools. This is the way to use this watch strap but I really like it and there doesn't seem to be such a thick strap compatible with smartwatches. Overall I really like this setup and hopefully it will help someone else in my situation.
