While you might be tempted to have lots of ports, when it comes to ethernet I really only wanted USB-A power and USB -C connectors and he was unable to provide this. An external hard drive, a keyboard (with its own USB mouse port), and a webcam are enough to make this device misbehave. Initially it randomly blanked my screens (managed directly from the Mac) for a few seconds and I could see the hard drive going out, but using Jitsi it reported that my computer had gone to sleep. in the bin, about 2 months after purchase. It may be a specific combination, but I don't feel like trying to figure out which combination doesn't work. I bought this because I didn't want to buy another $300 USB hub for a second machine, but now I need to buy something else. While the slim picture shows good Mac integration, it really isn't. The USB-A cable is short, it can only be used with the Mac's left port (wanted to use it on the right). It also elevates your laptop so it's no longer flat.
