Better than heavy boots and good for lounging but requires some padding. I couldn't have worn it for more than ten minutes without the thick black pads that came with the other boot. You can't wear it at night either. It's too uncomfortable. In addition, it probably goes without saying, but this device does not offer any protection, it is too weak. After all, Velcro is already wearing the tape, and it's only been a week. I would give 5 stars if they came with extra padding under the heel, behind the heel and around the ankle bones.
