They cost $17 and wear just as well as any kid's shoe over $30. They are made from breathable mesh so not suitable for wet weather but I bought them for back to school when my son was just starting school. He's five years old and can put them on and take them off with no problem (it's not whining at 6:30 am), which is really nice. The color was as advertised and they are really unisex which is nice. I definitely think they will last until he outgrows them and that's exactly what I ask for in a pair of shoes for a five year old!
