I bought these for my 6 year old son to prepare for an 11 hour flight on a plane. I liked the idea that I can control the volume when we're home. I was a bit worried that the plane wouldn't be loud enough but my son was very happy. I ended up testing them on the plane because there was an issue with the flight video and I needed to get it working. I was very surprised by the high sound quality. We were in the back of the plane and I could hear very well. The custom plug for the headphone jack on the plane was amazing. We needed it! I gave them 4 stars because it is very difficult to turn the control knob. My husband and I both tried to get it to 95. I understand it's hard so the kids can't help it, but we almost gave up after my husband thought he broke them. I would recommend them for flying or home use.
