I only gave it 4 stars because I haven't used it for so long to notice that my gum line is restored but when I brush my teeth I wear mine on my toothbrush, my teeth and I haven't noticed a pungent taste but my god I've never seen a dentist clean my mouth with any other toothpastes. I bought 2 types so I will give them the same rating but I can see a big difference because with the toothpaste I used I had to use soft bristles because it hurt my gums. But with it I can use my favorite hard toothbrush and my gums feel good. I am very impressed. But if things change in a few months I'll post an update!
