So this is made of potassium alum. It works just as well as any other potassium alum crystal deodorant. It does NOT work as well as crystal deodorants, which are made from ammonium alum, another mineral salt. I'm a paramedic and we're sweating under those PPE layers right now. I've been using the Crystal brand stone with ammonium alum all year round, but I decided to try them because they were at a very good price. (I can't use standard antiperspirant sticks because I'm allergic and a stinging red rash in my armpits isn't what you want.) Anyway, I gave this brand of deodorant a try. I was nearing the end of my shift when I reached for something and smelled my own pit funk. After not even smelling in hot weather for several months, it was an unpleasant surprise to find out that my anti-stench shield was failing. I expect this product will be very good for general use. I wore it at home over the weekend and smelled fresh and clean all day. Patients who cannot understand how they are dying of fraud and swear the media is lying even when they are supposed to be put on a ventilator. You might want to get one with ammonium alum in it.
