Review on HOZY Blanket Fleece Blankets Lightweight by Megan Sweet

Based on several reviews I was expecting a "smell" when opening the box. Sure, it smelled (not that bad), but what new thing DOESN'T smell? It got very soft right away, as many have attested, but will it be long? I immediately threw it in the laundry. {{A NOTICE. Due to my super sensitive skin, I use Tide Free & Gentle Laundry powder detergent and NO fabric softener.}} Fresh out of the dryer, the laundry is actually softer and fluffier than it was before the wash. And no odor problems. Again, with no fragrance or opaque smell in my detergents, I would definitely be able to tell if it lingers. I've washed it several times and it's holding up well, both in feel and shape. The trimming is well sewn, so there are no problems here either. I can only use 100% cotton sheets and comforters (light on the skin but not warm at all when the New England weather turns) so mine goes over sheets and comforters - it's super light but quite warm and cozy . I have a king and it is great and surprisingly tall in both length and width - great if you have a deep mattress (I have a Tempur-Pedic Cloud) or a spouse who loves bedspreads. LOL I will most likely be ordering some twins to cover the dog beds this winter.
