Review on 🧡 Copper Handle Sewing Awl Hand Stitcher Shoe Repair Tool - Co-link 4 Needles with 9m Nylon Cord Thread in Black for DIY Sewing Repairing Canvas Leather (Gold + Black) by Kat Hernandez

Sturdy, useful but the handle is small for me.

Small for my hands so it's a bit uncomfortable to use and the edges are rough. If you use it for a long time it is highly recommended to use a glove that lasts, or a friend suggested wrapping some velcro which I didn't as I use a leather fingerless glove which gives me the ability to work with this tool to work. When you're done using it, remove it. I suspect it has to do with the ribbed edges on the end which help it stay in place during use which is great but it is very difficult to replace after not using it for a month . I had to disassemble it and remove it with pliers. I've used leather (no shoes) and some heavy fabric and it has worked well, but for me a longer handle would have been easier in my somewhat clumsy "vintage" hands. I've had it for about six months and would recommend it, the copper cable that came with it was nice and easy to work with.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Weak set
