Read all reviews before ordering. All I can say is that this is one of the best belts I have ever owned. I'm a tall guy and an auto mechanic. The plastic buckle is perfect for my work as it doesn't damage delicate finishes or finishes. Contrary to other comments on the buckle design and how it works, I find the locking and unlocking function to be flawless. Hold it closed/locked with two fingers and pull straight forward on the loose end of the strap to release. Very nice stiff waistband does not stretch allowing the pants to stay in the waist. In addition, the pistol holster sits securely on the body. Works great with trap and plate bags. The only slight recoil - the edge of the strap can dig into bare skin a bit - I just relaxed a little and it was a lot more comfortable - a positive balance to this slight discomfort is that the strap doesn't tip over like the flimsy one Cotton versions from various competitors.
