I bought this to replace a Petco brand hammock that broke down causing my ferret to fall to the bottom of his cage. At the moment this hammock seems to be much more durable and also a huge space upgrade - for a ferret it's a very roomy and comfortable hammock. I don't doubt their claims that multiple animals can sleep in it at the same time. Although the instructions say the hammock must be hand washed, I tossed it in the washing machine and let it air dry and it looks fine.
