I have a MacBook Pro 13" that was brand new in May 2020. It replaced an MBP that was over 8 years old. I wanted a case for general protection. I had one Hard case on old one that has withstood years of heavy use.I ordered a new one but it didn't fit.It took a while for third parties to make changes to the new one which is thinner but not as thin as some laptops.This one fits. Read the description carefully and verify the exact model number for your machine. The three pieces - top, bottom, keyboard cover - all fit and don't interfere with any functions. The bottom cover has many slots for air circulation. But this cover is very thin and I suppose that's more cosmetic. In fact, I like the keyboard cover better than the "bare keyboard" without the cover. And it all still fits in the form of an egg ner cover nverta that I bought first.
