Review on 🐢 Karen Pryor's Clicker Training for Dogs: A Step-by-Step Guide for Beginners by Brooke Nelson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

a good basic guide to dog behavior training

is a good basic guide for people who know little about classical and operant training. I am a psychologist and studied these techniques on rats and pigeons many years ago. However, it was a good reminder of what I had learned and almost forgotten many years ago. I have a small dog, not very smart and quite old (13), who is learning the basics of the clicker program. There would be no end to what could be taught to a dog with a Border Collie! I think it's a fun hobby to learn and I would recommend the book if you're at all interested in effective dog training.

Pros

Cons
  • no performance
