I have reviewed many similar lamps to the ones sold here and this is the only pair that does not require the lampshade to be assembled by yourself. Because from what I've seen others do, you need to wrap the shade fabric around the wire form and then secure the ends with velcro. No matter how hard some try, judging by their photos, it looks like Crp. These shades are fully assembled straight out of the box, you just need to cut off the clear plastic that protects them during shipping. They are a little smaller than expected although I measured before ordering. But they look great on the bedside tables in the bedroom. I wouldn't use them in the living room, higher lamps look better there. But for the bedroom they are suitable. These are touch lights, but only if you lightly glue the round button to the front of the base. It's just a faucet. Sometimes my cats step on them in the middle of the night and turn on them. The USB ports work perfectly. But the electrical connector that is built into the faceplate, I'm careful when using it as I don't want to overload the wiring capabilities of this bulb. Plug in something that has too many watts and you risk a fire. I don't see any UL rating on this lamp or on the packaging.
