These needles are worth their weight in gold. Or more. In fact, I'm not sure what their weight in gold will be. If you hand sew a lot, you have to try this. They slide over the fibers, even over many layers of thick cotton. My work often requires seeing hooks and loops on 4 or more layers of high thread count fabric. These needles relieve pain in my hands. The only downside is that the eyelets are small on all types of needles. This is actually a plus when it comes to threading them through fabric, but it does mean I sometimes spend a few minutes threading them in the middle of a seam because my needle threader (and my eyes) have some trouble with it to have.
