Powerful motor and clean cut. The foil is pretty weak. I've only had the shaver for a few weeks and the mesh has already come loose and needs to be replaced. Maybe it's the engine vibration, but I'll try sticking the foil back onto the blade cover and see if it holds. Too early to change slides. Update: Turns out the foil damage was user error. After changing the foil, I found I was squeezing the razor too hard to get a tighter cut. This detached the film from the plastic head. By relieving the pressure on the razor and letting it glide over my skin under its own weight, I found that not only did it not damage the foil, but it allowed the razor to do its job of pulling the hairs in. instead of trying to press your head against the skin. By the way, I use it to shave my head, not my face. I thought I'd clear this up for those wondering how you slide a razor under its own weight in a horizontal position across your face. My first rating was 4 stars. Now I give 5 stars.
