When my laptop is plugged in on a desk for long periods of time I prefer to use a full keyboard and mouse rather than a laptop keyboard and touchpad. It connects quickly without special software and is quick to plug and play. I also have another laptop that I spilled too much coffee on. Too many keys echoed and crashed now so I leave my laptop keyboard disabled. I use this laptop to play movies and use one of these to control it.
