I had knee surgery and had arthritis so I recently started water aerobics. This bracelet is perfect for the pool. Does not slip down (unlike sleeve type). It doesn't get wet either. Provides enough support so I don't strain my knee when kicking and similar movements. The only thing I would say is that you fit it snugly and zip up before you get wet. I used to have to adjust once I was already in the water and then the velcro didn't seem to stay in place at that point. But if I put it on properly the first time (*before* it gets wet) it stays on for the whole class. ETA: I ended up buying a pack of 1 inch metal fasteners and just sewing a pair onto the top flap. This brace is just for extra security as the more you move in the water the more it will start snagging on the Velcro if you don't do it *just right*.
