This has paid off. There weren't many reviews but I wanted ankle length winter boots/waterproof boots and didn't look like winter boots. So I took a risk and it paid off. It is wonderful. Quality at the highest level. So we'll be made and heavy. Everything inside is fur and they are very warm. They look and feel expensive. My son who doesn't like many shoes but loves Crocs. They are lace-up. My only problem, which I can ignore. You can tie them together and attach the Velcro to the laces to keep them in place. He splashed in the puddles many times. They are waterproof. So happy with them.
