Vata really is a keyboard with all the features I need to play and work. Recording macros on the fly is great for the job and incredibly useful. The software downloaded from the redragon website is simple. and it is very useful to reconfigure any key or set macro. I didn't buy a keyboard for RGB functionality, but being able to match your color scheme with other hardware is a great thing. Pros: 1. Outemu's blue keys: Easy to type, very loud and clicky. I put clear dampening O-rings on them, but nothing has changed as the Outemu switches are slightly different from the Cherry.2 switches. Dedicated Media Keys: Love the ability to change songs in VLC/Winamp/Windows Media Player.3. Macros: You can use the default G1-G5 to record, or use the software to set any key to record. Customer service did a great job of helping me figure this out before I bought this keyboard. I couldn't find any review that mentioned this.4. RGB: There seems to be a lot of customization options.5. Side RGB lighting: I turned it off, but it does light up my mouse pad a bit at night. 6. The volume wheel can be used as a LED brightness wheel! 7. Slim: This keyboard sits a little lower than my other mechanical keyboards that I like. Cons: 1. Removable switches basically break switches and I suggest avoiding this feature. I love that they supply several different switches so we can swap places, but the plastic case on these Outemu switches is too fragile. I was able to replace a few switches with brown ones, but I really broke the stock switch housing with their guide and tool. Good thing they provided additional blue switches that I might use in the future.2. The media buttons light up even when the computer is turned off. Overall, I highly recommend this keyboard. It has everything the big brands offer in a slimmer lower profile for half the price!
