At first I was concerned that the visor wasn't dark enough, but after using it I found it very effective! I'm very happy with it and now when I drive in the sun on my way home it's a lifesaver! Guess I found my perfect way to ride in the sun - cover the top half of this visor with duct tape! This allows you to see all the way but completely blocks the sky and sun. If you're stopped at a traffic light, it also blocks the traffic light state, but then you can just lean on it slightly to see when the light turns green, and then lean back and grab some sunscreen while driving. and you can use a piece of cardboard instead of tape to make it less durable. But with that single setting, it really is the perfect gadget for sunset and sunrise driving if you aim for the sun.
