Review on πŸ¦„ Inflatable Unicorn Horn for Cats by Accoutrements by Ogunjemilusi Cheatham

Good idea, bad execution

No instructions came with the product but after inflating many beach balls and pool floats I was quick to inflate the unicorn horn. Most inflatables are fitted with a one way valve to prevent air from escaping when you close the valve to keep the air inside, but this is not the case so I found it impossible to push the horn to its limit to inflate I have a cat that is less than a year old and when I put on the straps attached to the horn to secure the horn to the head the horn just fell off as soon as I put it on the cat. Since there were no instructions with the product, I didn't know if the horn straps should be adjustable either. Ever since I was an adult I've seen that if I undo one of the ribbed bands I can change the tension of the band and make it smaller to better fit my cat's ears. I just did it to see my cat "Sir Cutts Alot" with a horn. I adjusted it a few times until it finally looked right. The elastics rode up one or both ears (I tried several times to get a decent picture with the horn on) and after a few seconds the cat just shook its head and ran off, leaving the horn in the rearview mirror. Final thoughts, good idea, but obviously the product needs some adjustment if the cat owner likes it and the cat doesn't mind.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Not bad but...
