Due to a fairly simple bug, you may not be able to connect to a smart home app.

The bulbs themselves seem fine. The pairing process itself is comparable to any other smart light bulb without a hub. I haven't gotten far enough to comment on color options or pairing with Alexa, IFFT, or Google Assist. The problem is related to the pairing of light bulbs with WiFi. There are two ways to pair a smart lightbulb with your smart app; Smart mode or AP mode. I've tried several times using a few different tricks to pair the bulb in smart mode. No problem, I switched to AP mode which I was able to connect to the app itself. Once the app detects the lightbulbs, you need to select the lightbulb brand to complete the pairing. BUT OHLUX IS NOT LISTED AS A BRAND OPTION. This makes it impossible to pair the lightbulb with the app for a very stupid reason. Maybe I'm missing something? I've attached screenshots of the brand options (missing OHLUX). I tried to find solutions online and wrote to OHLUX and Revain. That was last week and I didn't get an answer. I return mine.
