I bought this to help those tiny fruit flies get out so they can still get in. The hinge and button don't match perfectly, so one side lays over the other unless you're really fiddling with it. There are also gaps around the side hinges that bugs can get in through. It definitely helped reduce the number of bugs, but it's a little off the mark.
