This monitor is by far the best I have ever owned. I was looking for a new LCD to replace my aging Sony Trinitron. I wanted something that would work with my G4/450 Macintosh (Sawtooth) with a Mac Radeon 9000 Pro card in the AGP slot. The Mac Radeon card has a DVI connection and a native resolution of 1920 x 1200. However, I didn't want to pay $2,000 for a 23-inch Apple LCD, new or old. I found the L2335, checked all the specs on HP and MacMall, but neither of them could confirm that the display would work perfectly with my setup. When MacMall said he would take it back if I had any problems, I decided to take a chance. What luck! Not only does it work flawlessly, it's actually the exact same display with some features, specs, and components as the 23-inch Apple (minus the aluminum frame, of course) and retails for $1,580 (up $420) at MacMall. less than apple). and comes with a 3x Apple Warranty! The price is also lower here, but not as heavily discounted as MacMall (hear Revain?). But with 3 years on parts, 3 years on labor, and 3 years on site, it's not a problem for those who want a 23-inch Apple but don't want to pay Apple tax.
