I received these shorts about a week ago and have taken them on several trips. I have to say these are some of the best shorts for the money. Fit: Runs true to size and the shorts offer a small adjustment. I wear size 33 and the size fits me perfectly. The waistband features two integrated rubber Velcro straps for a snug fit over shorts, while belt loops allow you to wear the belt if you feel you need extra support. An elastic band runs through the back half of the waistband to ensure the fit is not too tight around the waist. The closure at the waist is very secure thanks to the button surrounded by velcro and the zipper seems very strong. The shorts are nicely tailored and long enough to cover the leg when sitting but not too baggy and fluffy when riding. Material: These shorts are made of two fabrics, both of which are very flexible. Most shorts are made of a durable but stretchy material that seems to hold up to some pressure. In fact, I crashed on my first ride with them and the shorts were undamaged. There is also a slight stretch panel that runs down each leg and across the buttocks. This helps the shorts breathe and gives the shorts even more flexibility. Construction: The whole pair looks very well constructed and there were no loose stitching or damage when I received the shorts. Some people have complained about the weak zippers on the pockets, but they strike me as solid and sturdy. I like the pocket configuration (two front pockets and two more zipped pockets on each leg) and I really like the flap that covers the vertically oriented zipped pocket because it protects the zip a bit. There's more than enough space to hide snacks, tools, a CO2 blower, a phone, etc., but I usually only carry an inhaler and lip balm in my pockets. I like the fact that I have the option to wear more if needed. Overall I'm very impressed with these shorts and will likely be buying a second pair in a different color soon. When in doubt, know that this is incredible value and it rivals shorts three times the price. - Wilhelm.
