I've had this table for less than 24 hours and I'm in love with it. I recently remodeled my "office" at home as I am still fired but also a student. Problem: I was recently diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and we're still trying to achieve remission, so sometimes sitting up straight at my beautiful desk is not only exhausting but impossible. I needed a way to work on my laptop while seated, sometimes with full support of my legs and back. Listen to my lap table hunt. The inflammation means I can't have a style that's balanced on my feet. I've tried a few and watched tons and there was always something wrong. Not big enough, too big, crappy materials, too small, too big, no ventilation (my laptop is a bit old and overworked so it needs to breathe. I started to think my goldilocks problem would never be solved, and that was when I came across this bamboo style desk, looked at many different manufacturers and settled on this one.Anyone who does a lot of online shopping knows that if one of the cheapest options just works for you, it sucks paid or nice surprise That's a VERY nice surprise!.. It's great if your sofa is maybe a bit old so lean more to one side than the other.. it gets stuck.* There is a small bracket on the frame which "locks" the easel from top to bottom - this is some sort of latch, pl rubber mount and it takes almost no pressure to disengage or snap into place, but it can't be easily hit to miss to open. as maybe some of you know others have tried and haven't and a simple push closing the easel is enough to cut that little wire if you are not very careful. * The fans are also completely silent. * The nuts and bolts that hold everything together are real, strong nuts and bolts, not flimsy little nails that you know will fall apart. All in all it's worth it!
