Review on ๐Ÿงฆ Circulatory Compression Wrist Support Sleeve by Adam Gechem

So far so good!: Orthotics, splints and supports

I have lupus, severe pain and swelling in my joints. I've been using similar ankle compression sleeves for about a year and they help with pain and swelling. My wrists have gotten a lot worse lately and the brace I use on my bad days is too uncomfortable and bulky for frequent use and for sleeping/relaxing so I figured I should try it on my wrists as well. I just got them so can't yet comment on how well they handle long term issues but I love the way they look and feel and they have already relieved the occasional stabbing/shooting pain I get in my wrist. The constant aching pain has also improved somewhat. I don't like compression stockings that are too tight because I have circulatory problems in my hands and forearms, which quickly become numb and painful. I went up a medium size (I usually wear a size small in this type of clothing) and they are snug enough to support my wrists but not so tight as to cut off blood flow and cause discomfort. They fit my arms perfectly and just over my wrist, but are a bit tight and painful at the end (lower down the arm) because the edge of the tape hits right where I have muscle swelling. I just folded this part so they don't go down so far and it works great. (My arms aren't very long so there's plenty of room to support my wrist.) I love that they come in pink too. I'm only 27 and already wear/use a lot of medical devices (braces, canes, walkers, etc.) so fun colors and patterns make them less oppressive. :) The photo shows what it looks like rolled up and folded. (Please excuse my ugly swollen fingers lol ๐Ÿ˜„)
