It's hard to analyze a bike lock because people really want to know how it will stand up to an attack. This lock is about ten inches long when locked. Long enough to get around the wheel and frame of whatever I'm hanging on to. The keys are soft, be careful not to bend them. The bars are coated 6 to 7 mm thick. Hopefully this will act as a deterrent to some bike thieves. To me this lock would be good as a secondary lock instead of a cable lock on the front wheel with your primary lock on the rear wheel and frame.
