I was looking for a simple flat mount for my TV. This item is very cheap! 1. If you add an extension, you will find it very difficult to move the TV to align it in the center of the room as the extension bolts will get in the way. 2. The extension throws it off balance, as soon as I hung my TV I realized it was unbalanced for that reason. 3. There is no easy way to make small adjustments to level the TV. 4. The bottom locking mechanism interferes with the hole required to screw the bracket to the TV. In general, the only good thing about this thing is its cheapness. I wouldn't care. At the same time, I don't have a better option for a replacement.
