They look normal. They're a little harder to put on than I thought, but I wear glasses. The description says the average size is usually suitable for women, but I have small ears and I think if you are a woman with a big ear you need more. Of course you can always exchange if the medium is too small. Can't wait for the cold lol but I hope it stays and keeps my ears warm as I have short hair. Enjoy!
