7 out of 10 bulbs appear to have a slightly thicker base where the glass appears to have fallen off when blown out, creating a wider lower 'neck' giving an overall a Problem was my spare night lights. I had to screw the bulb in and out several times, finally turning it HARD just before I felt the glass separate from the metal base. They all glow, but I'm worried about longevity: will the extra pressure combined with the thermal fatigue of the plastic base crack it? I struggled to photograph the difference but the bulb on the right was the original with no issues, the bulb on the left has a more noticeable bend on the right side of the metal base. I like the 3w rating because it's a bit dimmer for night light use and uses less power!
