Review on Haoge LUV-X54W Metal Lens Hood + MC UV Protection Filter for Fujifilm X100V Camera - Silver by Lyle Stepp

Here are my criteria, yours may vary: Tired of aluminum thread-locking filter rings, the X100 requires aluminum filter adapters. Requires a WR kit with lens filter but is not normally required. Use filter with X100 (bad luck with artificial light). I like round ones, I don't like playing around with square things to try and line them up correctly. Then keep it right. What I really like about Haoge is that they are one piece. No filter adapter required. The aluminum molding is a solid piece all the way down to the Fuji lens (why did it take anyone 10+ years to figure that out?). I bought 2. On one I unscrewed the retaining ring and removed the filter glass. When I need a WR I just turn on the unfiltered Haoge hood and the filtered Haoge hood. Grasp the front of the lens hood with one hand and the camera with the other and rotate. Just like that, no filter keys, no swearing, no stuck parts. Thank you Haoge, the quality of casting, stripping, painting is all superb and worthy of old school German craftsmanship.
