For this price, that's normal. Basically simple installation up to the door. I don't have as much damage as the others, but there are chips on each board, mostly in the corners. It seems sturdy enough with an internal shelf and didn't fall apart after the first night. When closed, there is a gap between the doors and the box wobbles a little. Again, it's good for what we were worth. The biggest problem I had was UPS shipping. Emails four mornings in a row that the delivery is being made and emails on three evenings that it isn't. Of course, this isn't the seller's fault, but it's worth noting.
