There are a few things I like about these chairs. I was looking for a modern farmhouse look and this suits my kitchen. The low back allows me to slide chairs in and easily serve guests from the island during large gatherings, while providing a level of seating comfort not found in a regular chair. The leatherette seat looks like leather but is a material that's easy to clean with a quick wipe down with a cloth. These chairs are very light - easy to move and won't scratch the floor. I took the risk of buying them without seeing them in person and I would buy them again.
