Throwing away all our plastic

Faced with concerns about toxins released when food is heated in plastic, between my teens and my 96-year-old mother, we threw everything away. This is one of the best all-around alternatives I've found. The lids are closed and that's why my mother has a little trouble with them. Two great things: this plastic cupboard with its ever-disappearing lids is clean, and I can be sure that at least this part of our daily life is healthier.
