I was so excited to make this purchase when the company said the chains were stainless steel! Stainless steel will not tarnish, fade, turn green, etc., especially if cared for. I have a ton of these, even plated. I have had this chain for less than a month as can be seen in my photos it is definitely not stainless steel. It was bought for me for something special and now I need to find an alternative. It is very frustrating when you are misled. Either like that or not! However, it was returned and I will not be buying from this company again. It was the only company to claim that its chains are made of stainless steel. I think it was too good to be true!
